Albert Linwood Keyser III

Albert Linwood Keyser, III, 78, of Waynesboro, Pa., passed away, Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at Laurel Lakes Rehabilitation and Nursing, Chambersburg, Pa.

Born January 20, 1946 in Hagerstown, Md. he was the son of the late, Albert L. Keyser, Jr. and Ruth I. (Bartles) Keyser. In addition to his parents he also was preceded in death by a sister, Rebecca Horst.

Mr. Keyser retired as a U.S. Postal Clerk, Hagerstown.

He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War.

Mr. Keyser was a member of the Calvary Assembly of God Church, Waynesboro; Sons of Union Veterans, Sons of Confederate Veterans and the First Pennsylvania Dismounted Calvary.

Mr. Keyser is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Theresa Ann (DeMelio) Keyser; three children, Dawn Strong, Tammy Lyday (Jason) and Albert L. Keyser IV (Mandy); one brother, Daniel P. Keyser, Sr., (Nancy); six grandchildren, Paige, Andrew, Riley, A.J., MeKenna and Faith.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Pastor Renee Kinard officiating.

Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday one hour prior to the service.
