Alice Mae Taylor

Alice Mae Taylor, 88, of Slanesville, W.Va., formerly of Hagerstown, passed away Monday, Jan. 24, 2011, at her home.
Born March 20, 1922, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Nicolas and Florence V. (Kidweiler) Powers.
Alice was a member of Haven Lutheran Church, Hagerstown.
She had worked at the Hagerstown Leather Co. for many years and then part-time for McDonald's.
She is survived by one son, Joseph C. Buckler of Slanesville; three grandsons, Joseph W. Buckler, David W. Buckler and William R. Buckler; three great-grandchildren, Jennifer, Joshua and Allen Buckler; one great-great-grandson, David A. Garrett; sister-in-law, Marguerite Powers and one nephew, Jimmy Powers.
In addition to her parents, she also was preceded in death by her husband, Winton Owen Taylor, and one brother, Roy Powers.
Graveside services will be conducted on Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011, at 2:30 p.m. at Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown.
Friends will be received at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, one hour prior to services
