Alice Marie White

Alice Marie White, 45, of Martinsburg, WV passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, VA.

Born on April 6, 1975 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of Kathleen May (Shatzer) and Richard Clay Van Vliet. She was predeceased by her maternal Grandparents; James and Helen Shatzer, Aunt Cindy Becton, Uncle James Shatzer, Jr., and Father in Law Richard L. White.

Alice was a 1993 graduate of Seaford High School in Seaford, DE and attended the University of Delaware. She worked at First Data and enjoyed writing, photography and baking.

She is survived by her loving husband, Richard R. White, Sons; Lance Wilkins, Ethan Wilkins, both of Hagerstown, and Ricky M. White of Martinsburg, Daughters Harley Wilkins of Martinsburg, Kayla Thomas and Samantha Wilson of Hagerstown, Sisters; Jessica Talbott and Ashlyn Han, Aunts Wendy Britner and Christina Forrest, an Uncle; Bruce Shatzer and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 19, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Pastor Chris Schlotterbeck Officiating. Visitors are expected to wear masks and practice social distancing.

Family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.

Food and Fellowship will immediately follow the funeral service at Big Pool Civic Center, 11411 Tedrick Dr., Big Pool, MD 21711.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Alice's name to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd St., New York, NY 10016.
