Allan Lee Middlekauff

Allan Lee Middlekauff, 84, of Hagerstown, passed away at Meritus Medical Center on Saturday, January 16, 2021.
Born on March 31, 1936 in Hagerstown, Allan was the son of the late Silas Howard and Nellie Catherine (Shank) Middlekauff. He was also predeceased by his wife, Karen Ann Middlekauff; and his brothers, William, Ray, and Warren Middlekauff.
Allan grew up on a farm in Clear Spring, MD. He graduated from Clear Spring High School in 1954. He enjoyed farming and worked with several before spending 20 years at Hydro Conduit as a Mixer Operator.
Allan was proud of his service in the US Army Reserve and was a member of the American Legion Dixon-Troxell Post 211 and the Washington County AmVets Post 10. He was also a member of the Chewsville Lions Club. He enjoyed Baseball (particularly the Yankees), Football, and watching Western movies.
Allan is survived by his two sisters, Janice Lambert, and Mary Weaver and her husband Ed; and special niece Elva Carr and her husband, Allan; as well as many other nieces and nephews; and three adopted children.
Services are private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Wounded Warrior Project at www.woundedwarriorproject.org
