Allen Leroy Kann

Allen Leroy Kann, 75, of Hagerstown, MD passed away, Friday, August 30, 2024, at his home.

Born June 1, 1949, in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late Jack Leroy Kann and the late Mary Catherine (Russell) Kann.

Allen graduated from North Hagerstown High School in 1967. He retired from Maryland Correctional Institute in Hagerstown, MD.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Kann; son Michael Kann and his wife Amy Kann; mother-in-law, Emma J. Eccleton; brother and sister-in-law, Allan and Debbie Worthington; one uncle, Ronald Russell and his wife Mary Russell; cousins George Kann and his wife Carla, Linda Russell Fager and husband John, Fred Russel and his wife Missy, Joe Russell and Alan Russell; and his two beloved cats, Charlie and Simon.

Services will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, Hagerstown, MD. Family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
