Anson Thomas Hawks

Anson Thomas Hawks, 88, of Martinsburg, passed away, Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at his home.
Born on April 29, 1933 in Johnstown, PA, he was the son of the late Helen (Pallister) and Roy Hawks.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving companion; Joan B. Buchanan, Ex-Wife, Patricia Rose (Olszewski) Hawks, son; Thomas John Hawks and Robert Keith Hawks.
Anson served in the U.S. Navy.
Anson worked as a machinist at Mack Truck until his retirement. He was a member of the AmVets Post 10, Funkstown American Legion Post 211, UAW #171 and Williamsport Moose FC Lodge #2462.
He is survived by his daughters; Pamela Marie Hawks, Melodee Kobovitch and Roxanne Mosch, Step-daughter Melinda and her husband Jeremy.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, November 21, 2021 at 2 PM at Washington County AmVets, Post 10, 770 Frederick St., Hagerstown.
Rest Haven Funeral Home, Hagerstown is assisting the family with the arrangements.
