Arthur Earl Campanelli Jr., 76, of Hagerstown, passed away on June 7, 2023, at his home. Born May 29^TH 1947 in New Britian, Connecticut. He was the son of the late Arthur and Shirley (McLeod) Campanelli.

Arthur loved his family, and he was of catholic faith. He moved to Maryland in the 80’s. He enjoyed working in the HVAC Field. He worked at Travelodge in Frederick, MD, as the lead maintenance person where he retired from in 2016. He continued to work for Macy’s warehouse in Martinsburg, WV, until 2022.Once family you were family for life. Linda Campanelli, Vicky and Habib Mhamdi, and Mason Oldham were a few of the special ones. Over the years, he collected many neighborhood kids/family and everyone called him pops.

He enjoyed helping others, fishing, boating, and riding his Harley, but most of all spending time with his family, especially his grandkids and great grandchildren. 

He is survived by one son, Eric S. Campanelli; one daughter, Sherry Moxley; siblings, David Campanelli of Warren, VT, and Richard Campanelli and wife Judith of East Haddam, CT; sisters, Cheryl Case and husband Wayne of Myakka City, FL, Lisa Peay and husband Michael of East Hampton, CT, eighteen grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren and counting.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one son, Robert Campanelli, one grandson, Justin Chaney, and one great grandson, Logan Lafferty.

A viewing will be held Wednesday, June 14, 2023, from 1-3 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave. Hagerstown Md. 21742.

Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
