Audrey Joan Lane

Audrey Joan (Joanie) Lane, 87, of Mt. Airy, MD passed away peacefully, Thursday, May 14, 2020 at Lorien Nursing Home.
Born on October 11, 1932 in State Line, PA, she was the daughter of Charles Reuben Brown and Audrey Leota (Shank) Brown. She is preceded in death by her brother Charles Brown and loving husband of 55 years, Neil Royce Lane. She is survived by her brother David Brown.
Joanie was an active member of Grace Baptist Church in Bowie, MD since 1973. She was a member of the Jaycee Wives of Frederick and Hagerstown.
Joanie was a homemaker and enjoyed singing in the choir, crafts, playing the piano by ear. One of her greatest joys was playing with her grandchildren.
She is survived by Daughter Audrey Susan Finfrock and husband Denny of Richmond, VA, and their children Andrea and Joey; Son Stephen Lane and wife Melanie of Salado, TX, and their children Ben, Stephanie, Abbey, Tim and Alina; and daughter Lori Joan Warrenfeltz and husband Ron of Mt. Airy, MD and their daughter Sarah; and 11 Great-Grandchildren.
Due to current restrictions due to COVID-19, a private funeral service will be held at Rest Haven Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions can be made in Joanie's name to Lorien Mt. Airy, 713 Midway Ave., Mt. Airy, MD 21771, for use in their activities department..
