Barbara Jean Smith

Barbara Jean Smith, 49, of Hagerstown, passed away, Monday, April 4, 2016, at Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown.

Born May 1, 1966 in Hagerstown she was the daughter of the late, Charles W. "Bunky" and Linda K. (Hart) Hull and raised by Eugene E. and Evelyn R. (Hull) Smith. In addition to her parents she also mwas preceded in death by two brothers, Stephen Smith and Curtis Smith, Sr. and one sister, Melinda Hull.

Barbara was a 1984 graduate of Clear Spring High School and had worked for 20 years as a processor specialist for First Data, Hagerstown. She was of the Christian faith and a very strong believer in God.

She is survived by one son, Michael E. Smith and fiancé, Danille Knepper of Hagerstown; two daughters, Misty R. Smith and Shantell E. Smith, both of Hagerstown; two brothers, Jesse Hull and Charles Hull, Jr., both of Hagerstown; seven grandchildren, Elijah Archie, Azmir Kentner, Legend M. Smith, Azianna Kentner, Kingston A. Smith, Brielle Francis and Braxton Francis; sister in law, Judy Smith of Clear Spring; family friend, Stephanie Saunders of Hagerstown; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends and family will be received on Tuesday April 12, 2016 from 6-8 pm at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel.
