Barbara Kathleen Marconi

Barbara Kathleen Marconi, 87, of Hagerstown, Md., passed away, Friday, December 13, 2024 at her home.

Born November 19, 1937 in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late, James Frederick Leckrone and Kathleen Elizabeth (Plack) Leckrone. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Thomas Michael Marconi; a sister, Nancy Humbertson and her son-in-law, Rodney Weicht.

Mrs. Marconi retired with 27 years as Director of the Maryland Energy and Weatherization Program (Washington County).

Mrs. Marconi is survived by two children, Linda J. Weicht and Joseph Martin (Sandy); two grandchildren, Doug Weicht (Ashley) and Brittany Weicht-Riley (Walter) and one great granddaughter, Harper Ann Weicht.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 from 10:00-11:00 A.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown.

Graveside services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
