Beatrice Ellen Reichenbach

Beatrice Ellen (Hendricks) Reichenbach, 82, of Hagerstown passed away Monday, August 26, 2024, at home peacefully. Born in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Catherine (Sassaman) Hendricks. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard Reichenbach, of 41 years, and a sister Shirley J. Powell.

Beatrice attended the Scotland School for Veterans' Children and was a 1962 graduate of Lockhaven High School. Bea worked as an LPN and Home Health Care. She also worked at Baer Packing and Maryland Ribbon and Colton Villa Nursing Home. In her free time, she enjoyed ceramics, collecting cows, and watching NFL Football and Penn State football games. 

Surviving is a brother, Robert (Betsy) Hendricks, daughter Lori (Rodney) of Clear Spring, and son Jerry Hendricks, grandchildren Devin Shirk of Clear Spring, Mary (Nevin) Daley of Hagerstown, KellyJo Hendricks, and Samantha Hendricks, two great-grandchildren Delaney Shirk and Lillian Daley.

A Memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Rest Haven Cemetery & Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Avenue, Hagerstown, MD, 21742. The visitation will be held at 12:00pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Inurnment will be in the Rest Haven Cemetery, immediately following the service.
