Benjamin Franklin "Frank" Oliver, 93 of Hagerstown, passed away, Sunday, December 25, 2016 at Ravenwood Nursing Care Center.
Born March 26, 1923 in Baltimore, Md. he was the son of the late, Eugene F. Oliver, Sr. and Hazel may (Wiseman) Oliver. In addition to his parents he also was preceded in death by his loving wife, Beatrice R. (Rice) Oliver and a brother, Eugene F. Oliver, Jr.
Mr. Oliver retired as a mechanical contracting project manager for T.A. Gorman Co., Baltimore.
He was a US Navy veteran of WWII and the Korean War.
He was a member of Hagerstown Lodge No. 217 A.F. & A. M., 32nd degree Scottish Rite, Ali Ghan Shrine and the Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Forest No. 95; B.P.O. Elks No. 378 and Morris Frock American Legion, Post 42.
Mr. Oliver is survived by a daughter, Cynthia O. Dodson (Elmer) of Hagerstown; two sisters, Joyce O. Newcomb of Bethesda, Md. and Joan H. Pfister of Baltimore; one granddaughter, Kathleen "Katie" Cecchetti (Matt) of Cranberry, Pa.; two step grandchildren, Stephen Dodson (Kristen) of Hagerstown and David Dodson (Lori) of Boonsboro; two great grandchildren, Henry P. and Harry D. Cecchetti; two step great grandchildren, Seth and Abigail Dodson.
Services will be conducted at the convenience of the family.
