Betty Biser

Betty Biser, 93, of Falling Waters, WV, and currently of Boonsboro, MD, passed away on August 26, 2023, at Sterling Care South Mountain. She was the wife of the late John E. Biser, Sr.

Born on June 6, 1930, in Washington County, Maryland and was the daughter of the late Harry L. Ponton and Susie A. Ponton and was a homemaker, raising her children.

She is survived by her children, Pamela Bowers of Hagerstown, MD, Teresa Hoffman Kozub of Boonsboro, MD, Jeffrey Biser of Falling, WV, Douglas Tyrone Biser of Falling Waters, WV; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and 23 great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four children, Sandra Jean Biser Petersen, Judith Biser Pugh, Johnny Biser Jr., Rick Biser; and grandson Richard Hoffman.

The family will receive friends from 10-11am on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21742. The funeral service will be held at 11am Saturday in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
