Beverly Ann Sipes

Catherine and Leonard are sad that we need to inform every one of the passing of our sister Beverly on December 15 2019 at 8:50PM, she will be sorely missed by her family and friends.
Beverly had many positive attributes to mention but first and foremost, Beverly was an accomplished educator and she loved teaching with a passion. She was a graduate of Seton High School and her higher education was at John Hopkins University with her graduate work at Morgan State University. Her focus and training was in Special Education where she excelled. She taught in the Lansdowne area, in some of the toughest schools, for many years and she loved her job and the students she taught, very much. She would hear from her students quite often and that brought her great pleasure.
Beverly was a dog lover too and her dogs names were Reds and then Foxy came along She babied them just like they were her children and they were with her wherever he went. They brought so much happiness to her life and it was fun to watch her play with them.
Beverly had many friends but notably Cathy and Susan! They were very special in
her life and we are grateful for them being there for her. Susan told us many stories of the times she spent with Beverly and the fun and laughter they shared together.
But first and foremost she was our sister and a wonderful, caring daughter to our parents and the best Aunt ever to her nieces and nephews.
She is with our brother Tim now and we are forever changed by their loss. We loved them both.
A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvbania Ave., Hagerstown.
