Carolyn Rosalie Duffey, 72, of Hagerstown, passed away, Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at Sterling Care South Mountain, formerly, Reeders Memorial Home, Boonsboro.
Born October 13, 1945 in York, Pa. she was the daughter of the late, Charles William Paul, Sr. and Rosalie L. (Dinterman) Paul Ruth.
Mrs. Duffey was a 1963 graduate of South Hagerstown High School and a graduate of Hagerstown Junior College.
She retired with 34 years of service as an associate with Kmart, Hagerstown.
She was a member of the Church of the Holy Trinity, Halfway where she belonged to the Chancel Choir.
Mrs. Duffey is survived by a daughter, Cathleen E. Duffey; one brother, Charles W. Paul, Jr. and wife, Medea all of Hagerstown; three nieces, Tera R. Keplinger and husband, Ron of Smithsburg,Md., Kathryn M. Toothman and husband, Ronnie of Hagerstown and Erin Reuter and husband, Jason of Greencastle, Pa.; four great nieces, Kayla and Eva Keplinger of Smithsburg, Zhen and Rayn Reuter of Greencastle; two great nephews, Jason Reuter of Greencastle and Theodore Toothman of Hagerstown.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, August 6, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Dr. Michael W. Lida, Pastor officiating.
Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 P.M.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Church of the Holy Trinity, Chancel Choir, 17805 Oak Ridge Dr., Hagerstown, MD 21740.
