Charles Leonard Allen

Charles Leonard Allen, 75, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2024 at Doey’s House in Hagerstown MD.

Born July 8, 1949 in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late Frances Houser.

He was a welder by trade and worked for Reed Industries until they closed in the 80’s. He went on to work at Electromat and retired from Good Humor Breyers in 2012.

He loved sports and was a diehard Orioles, Raiders and Terps fan. He enjoyed spending time with the grandkids, great grandkids and his two fur babies, Logan and Coco. Charlie and his wife enjoyed taking long rides in the car, often, with no destination in mind. Throughout his long 2 year battle with bladder cancer, you never seen him without a smile on his face. He was preceded in death by his Grandmother, Charlotte, whom raised him; his brother Johnnie, son Christopher and granddaughter, Sierra.
