Charles Ray McClure

Charles Ray McClure, 80, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, passed peacefully at home with his family by his side on December 20, 2023.

Born on May 1, 1943 in Amigo, WV, he was the son of the late William Andrew McClure and Ola Mae (Belvins) McClure. Following high school, Charles entered into the United States Army where he served his country as a Specialist 4th Class before entering the United States Army Reserves. Charles followed his military time with a career in Commercial and Residential construction for many years until his retirement. He was an avid golfer, angler, private pilot and globetrotter.

In addition to his parents he was proceeded in death by three brothers and his son Danny.

He is survived by his wife Sandra Louise (McClain) McClure; sons, Randy (Kelly), Jeff (Joann) and four grandchildren, Zach, Katie, Amanda and Sydney McClure.  

The family will receive friends at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave. Hagerstown, MD 21742 on Saturday, January 6, 2023 from 2-3pm.
