Charles Theodore Sonny Weddle

Charles Theodore "Sonny" Weddle, 75, of Hagerstown passed away, Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at his home.
Born April 13, 1941 in Hagerstown he was the son of the late, Chester Hastings and Sarah Ruth (Gift) Weddle. In addition to his parents he also was preceded in death by two sisters, Patsy Kaufman and Alice Snodderly.
Sonny retired as a truck driver for Chemical Leaman Tank Lines and was a member of the Teamsters Local 062, Hagerstown.
He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Shelby Jean (Forrest) Weddle; one daughter, Judi Faye Weddle; two sisters, Janet Shillingberg and Delores Weddle, all of Hagerstown; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Rev. Mark C. Mooney officiating.
Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received on Monday from 7-9 P.M. at the funeral home.
