Cheryl Denise Slayman, 62, of Hagerstown, passed away, Sunday, November 12, 2017 at her home.
Born June 8, 1955 in Hagerstown she was the daughter of the late, William A. and Doris M. (Saunders) Slayman. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by several aunts and uncles.
Cheryl had worked for many years as a drafting technician for the State of Maryland.
She was a member of the Funkstown American Legion No. 211, Ladies Auxiliary, Williamsport Women of the Moose No. 2116 and the Red Feather Council No. 59.
Cheryl is survived by three aunts, Elizabeth Clowdis, Nancy Moats and Shirley Getridge; three uncles, John Slayman, Elvin Slayman and Ronald Saunders and numerous cousins.
Graveside services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Cheryl's name to the Humane Society of Washington County, 13011 Maugansville Rd., Hagerstown, MD 21740.
