Chris Phelps

Christopher "Chris" William Phelps, 43, of Hagerstown, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2019.
Born July 8, 1975 in Frederick, he was the son of William D. Phelps, Jr. and Sharon (Pulkkinen) Phelps of Frederick.
Chris was a graduate of Thomas Johnson High School. He continued studying at Accu-Tech, where he received several accreditation's in IT Management.
Chris worked at the Frederick Memorial Hospital in the IT Dept., where Dr. John Vitarello, encouraged Chris to start his own business. Chris did exactly that, owning and operating CWP Tech Solutions in Frederick, MD. He loved computer work. His employees, Brent Riley, Denise Wissinger, and Bill Phelps, were very important to him.
Chris attended Frederick Christian Fellowship Church. When he wasn't working with computers, he was deer hunting and enjoying the outdoors. He loved life and people; especially his wife and children, Marci Anna Phelps, Ian Phelps, Madison Phelps, Ella Phelps, and Nathan Phelps.
He is also survived by his brother, Michael Phelps and wife Kimberly; numerous extended family and many friends.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with the Pastor Bill Reinke officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made in Chris's name to Rest Haven Funeral Home.
