Clyde Franklin Condo, III, 83, of Hagerstown, passed away peacefully, Friday, January 21, 2022, at his home surrounded by loving family.
Born on November 8, 1938 in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late Gladys Grace (Williams) and Clyde Franklin Condo, Jr.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Chloe Gasbarrow.
Clyde served in the U.S. Army Reserves.
Clyde graduated from Vandergrift High School in 1956. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1961 with a Bachelor Of Science in Pharmacy degree. After working as the Head Pharmacist and Manager of several stores in the Frederick and Hagerstown areas, Clyde retired after 51 years of service from CVS Pharmacy in Hagerstown.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Hagerstown, for 54 years. He was also a member and past president of the Maugansville Ruritan Club, B.P.O.Elks Lodge #378, Morris Frock American Legion, Post 42, the Thunderbird Club, and was a past president and board member of Maugansville Little League.
Clyde enjoyed traveling, cruises, winter ski vacations with the whole family, and going to Las Vegas. He also enjoyed music and driving in his 1957 Ford Thunderbird.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 1/2 years, Wilma Mae (Keibler) Condo; Son, Robert Condo and wife Deborah; Daughter, Kelli Scott and husband Michael; and Son Michael Condo and wife Lori; Grandchildren, Tyler Scott and wife Danielle, Chase Scott and wife Brieanna, Dalton Condo, Bryce Scott and wife Cameron, Karly Condo, Hayden Condo and Riley Condo; and Great-Grandchildren; Allison, Mason and Jaxon.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at 11 AM at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Pastor David Eisenhuth &
Pastor Greg Shook officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown.
Family will receive friends Monday, January 31st from 6-8 PM.
