Connie Diane Cavender, 67, of Hagerstown, Md., passed away, Sunday, February, 20, 2022 at Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown.
Born December 10, 1954 in Hagerstown she was the daughter of the late, Floyd Richard and Mary Jane (Hopkins) Cavender.
Connie was a night auditor with 22 years of service at the Hampton Inn, Hagerstown. Previously she had worked for Fairchild and for the Frederick Towne Mall as a security guard.
She is survived by her close friend and companion, Michael E. Wathen; one brother, David Cavender and many close friends and colleagues.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown.
Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday one hour prior to the service.
