David Everet Covington

David Everet Covington, 82 years old, passed away on March 1, 2025, in Boonsboro, Maryland. Born on March 20, 1942, in Puyallup, Washington, he was the son of the late Duane Monroe and Erma Lucille Wisner Covington.

During his working life, he excelled in international business, traveling to over 50 countries. He enjoyed skiing and sailing. Prior to starting his career, he was a ski instructor at Mt. Rainier in Washington State. After David retired from business, he worked as a seasonal park ranger at Catoctin Mountain Park.

David is survived by his wife of 60 years, Elizabeth (Betty) Covington; daughter, Anne Pasternak; sons, Christopher Covington, Mark Covington, and Eric Covington; and his brother Forest.
