David Wayne Dodson

David Wayne Dodson of Boonsboro, MD passed away May 15th 2023, at his home after his battle with Cancer. His final days were spent surrounded by his family and close friends.

David was born in Bethesda, MD on September 15th 1959, to his parents Tyler and Peggy Dodson.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Tricia Dodson. His three beautiful daughters, Sarah (Justin) Harbaugh, Erin (Kyle) Shanholtz, and Rachel (Eric) Dodson. His seven grandchildren, Jaydon, Jeremiah, Bailee, Aubree, Abel, Stella, and Amari. His siblings Jackie (Bob) Reynolds, John (Susie) Dodson, and Tom (Amy) Dodson. Special friends John and Larry, and his beloved Jack Russell "Baby". 

David loved life and loved spending time with his family and friends. Most weekends you would find him golfing, cruising in his Mustang with the top down, or going an a new adventure with his wife. 

We will miss his infectious laugh and all of his great stories.

There will be a visitation on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, MD from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 19, 2023, at Rest Haven Cemetery at 11:00 A.M.
