Davis Lee Baughman

Davis Lee Baughman, 92, of Hagerstown, passed away, Sunday, March 19, 2107 at Quincy Village, Waynesboro, Pa.
Born November 13, 1924 in Wardensville, W.Va. he was the son of the late, Virgil and Anna F. (Miller) Baughman. In addition to his parents he also was preceded in death by his loving wife, Gladys P. (Coulter) Baughman on May 17, 1987; one daughter, Lisa Baughman and siblings, Harold, Edwin, Dean and Katherine Baughman.
Mr. Baughman was a founding member of Covenant Presbyterian Church, Hagerstown, a member of Torch Club and EAA.
He was a US Army veteran of WW II.
He was an engineer, master woodworker, pilot, author, sailor and retired from Pangborn Corporation, Hagerstown.
He is survived by three children, Barbara Biser of Hagerstown, Robin Fortney of Des Moines, Iowa and Wendy Yohe; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; three siblings, Nalda Merrill of Winchester, Va., Betty Thompson of Charlottesville, Va. and Mickey Baughman of The Villages, Fla.
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted on Friday, April 21, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Covenant Presbyterian Church, Hagerstown with Rev. Dr. Renee Mackey officiating.
Inurnment will be private in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Covenant Presbyterian Church, 11833 Greenhill Dr., Hagerstown, MD 21742.
