Delores Christine (Beaver) Wyand, 72, of Falling Waters, WV, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at NMS Healthcare in Hagerstown.

Born September 15, 1942 in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late George C. and Theresa (Murphy) Beaver.

Delores was a 1960 graduate of St. Maria Goretti High School.

She retired after 41 years of service at Corning Incorporated, in Greencastle. Delores also owned and operated Funeral Transporting Services along with her late husband.

In addition to her parents, Delores was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Earl William Wyand, who passed away on April 5, 2011; three sisters, Marie Baker, Helen Ruck, and Regina Beaver; as well as a brother, George Beaver, Jr.

She is survived by her three sons, Stephen W. Wyand of Martinsburg, Matthew C. Wyand and wife Jillian of Martinsburg, Jonathan R. Wyand of Falling Waters; four grandchildren, Stephen Dakota Wyand, Saniah J. Wyand, Alexis Maynard, and Gerald Jones, Jr.; six siblings, Ellie Sirbaugh and husband Harry, Rose Thompson, Bernice Grandstaff and husband Jim, Jim Beaver, Dottie Cooper all of Hagerstown, David Beaver and wife Heddy of Maugansville; former daughter-in-law, Colleen Wyand; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 224 W. Washington St, Hagerstown, with Father John Jicha officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Friends and family will be received from 6-8pm on Tuesday at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown.
