Dionisio U. Porciuncula, Jr.

Dionisio Umali Porciuncula, Jr., 86, of Hagerstown, Md., passed away, Monday, June 26, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born May 10, 1937 in Manila, Philippines he was the son of the late, Dionisio Trinidad Porciuncula, Sr. and Rosario Umali Porciuncula; In addition to his parents he also was preceded in death by one brother, Arthur Porciuncula; one sister, Araceli Esmilla and three brothers in law, Sergio Esmilla, Jose Pacheco and Danillo Abella.

Mr. Porciuncula was a graduate of Far Eastern University, Manilia, Philippines with a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.

He retired from Eastalco, Frederick, Md. where he worked as a mechanical engineer.

In his spare time he enjoyed gardening.

Mr. Porciuncula is survived by his loving wife  of 49 years, Teresita (Duque) Porciuncula; one daughter, Patricia (Porciuncula) Kline; three grandchildren, Ciriaco, Camillo and Charles Kline; six sisters, Fe Porciuncula, Carmina Catapang and husband, Freddie, Leni Evaristo and husband, Percy, Corazon and husband, Eddie, Teresita Pacheco and Rosario Abella; one sister in law, Dorrie Costa and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania ave., Hagerstown with Rev. Fr. Collin Poston officiating.

Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday one hour prior to the service.
