Dixie Lee Blair

Dixie Lee Blair, 75, of Hagerstown, Md., passed away, Monday, November 11, 2024, at Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown.Born August 2, 1949, in Hagerstown she was the daughter of the late, Richard C. and Doris L. (McNamee) Blair. In addition to her parents, she also was preceded in death by a sister, Nellie Craft and a brother-in-law, Gary Craft.Dixie had worked as a laundry supervisor for the former Colton Manor Nursing Home, Hagerstown and as a press operator for Hagerstown Laundry.She is survived by a sister, Nancy L. Blair-Shockey, and husband Harry "Buddy"; one niece, Carrie Ann Craft and two nephews, Gary L. Craft and Jason Craft.Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, November 15, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Pastor David Sword officiating.Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hagerstown.Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday one hour prior to the service.Memorial contributions may be made in Dixie's name to the Fresenius Kidney Care of Meadow Dialysis, 12931 Oak Hill Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21742.
