Mrs. Dolly Virginia Harp, 91, of Hagerstown, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at Emeritus Senior Living in Hagerstown.
Born Oct. 12, 1920, in Hancock, W.Va., Dolly was the daughter of the late Joseph and Emiline (Hyles) McMullen.
Dolly was a homemaker and of the Protestant faith.
She was the widow of Wilbur U. Harp.
Dolly is survived by a son, W. Eugene Harp and wife, Elouise, of Smithsburg; a sister, Betty Young of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.; grandchildren, Kathy V. Plunkett and husband, Terry, of Smithsburg, Ricky E. Harp and fiancee, Tara Fann, of Hagerstown, and Michael L. Harp and wife, Jenny, of Smithsburg; great-grandchildren, Richelle, Ricky Jr. and Nathaniel J.; and great-great-grandchildren, Brayden and Kayleigh.
Dolly was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur U. Harp; and three brothers, Ted Hyles, Herbert McMullen and George McMullen.
Funeral services were privately held at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, Hagerstown. Burial was in Rest Haven Cemetery.
