Dolores Ann Wilson

Dolores Ann (Reynolds) Wilson, 79, of Ellicott City, MD passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, November 15, 2024, following a long illness.

Born January 6, 1945, in Washington DC, Dolores was the daughter of the late Carrie Mae Reynolds. She lived much of her childhood in West Virginia before moving to Gaithersburg, MD where she graduated from Gaithersburg High School. It is there where she met and married her husband of 50 years, James Martin Wilson Jr. until his death in 2013.

Together, they were partners in their custom home building business. During this time, Dolores experienced one of the greatest achievements of her professional career, serving as the first female President of the Home Builders Association of Frederick County, in which she stayed involved until her retirement.

She enjoyed crocheting, craftwork, and cooking. She embraced every holiday with great spirit. Nothing compared to the joy she felt spending time with her grandchildren.

Dolores is survived by son, James Edward Wilson; daughter, D. Elaine Sisk and her husband, Kenneth; daughter, Patricia Ann Wilson; and her six grandchildren. She is also survived by two siblings, her brother, Donald Reynolds and his wife, Barbara, and sister Seneta Sanford.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25, 2024, at 12:00 PM followed by funeral services at 1:00 PM at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Avenue, Hagerstown, MD. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
