Donald Lee "Tony" Anthony

Donald Lee "Tony" Anthony, 89, of Hedgesville, WV, passed away at Hospice of the Panhandle on Tuesday, September 8, 2020.

Born on December 30, 1930 in Hagerstown, Tony was the son of the late Helen Ann Anthony. He was also predeceased by his former wife, Dorothy Marie Anthony.

Tony was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. He served in the US Marine Corps and Air Force for a total of 20 years active duty and 10 years reserve. He was a post member of Morris Frock Post 42, the VFW 1936 Post, and Amvets of Hagerstown Post 0010.

Tony is survived by his sons John H. Anthony of Martinsburg, WV and Michael J. Anthony of Austell, GA; and his daughters Laura Lee Anderson of Austell, GA, and Mary Anthony of Martinsburg WV. He is also survived by his grandchildren Toni Lynn Marie Dimas, Michelle Lee Anthony, and Robert Anthony Brown, as well as five great grandchildren, Emma G. Clark, Sophia L. Clark, Theodore Z. A. Dimas, Josiha M. J. Dimas and Rebekah G. L. Dimas.

A Funeral Service will be held at Rest Haven Funeral Home on Monday, September 14, 2020 at 10:00 AM with a closed casket visitation starting at 9:00 A.M.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Tony's memory to St. Mary's Catholic Church.
