Donald Richardson

Donald Craig Richardson, 86, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away peacefully Wed, April 2nd at Doey's House, surrounded by loving family.

Born on March 4, 1939 in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late Virginia and William Clark Richardson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Bill, George and Kenny Richardson as well as his sister Shannon (Richardson) Norris.

Donnie was employed at the Hagerstown Leather Company and retired from Mack Truck after 30 years of service. He served in the US Air Force from 1957-1960.

Donnie was an avid gardener and woodworker. He was a member of First Christian Church for over 60 years. He was in the church choir and sang with Heavenly Harmony.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Connie E. (Coulter) Richardson; Daughter, Karen (Richardson) Morris; Son-in-law David Morris; Granddaughter Aspen Morris, and many loving nieces and nephews.

A memorial Service will be held on Monday, April 7th at 11am with pastor Dr. James Brooks officiating. A visitation will be held from 10am to 11am at the church.
