Doris Lee Farrow, 93, of Hagerstown, passed away, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown.
Born April 4, 1925 in Clear Spring, Maryland she was the daughter of the late, John Ardel and Leola Florence (Burke) Whittington. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Harold V. "Pete" Farrow, Sr. and one sister, Clara Mae Bowers.
Mrs. Farrow was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul's Reformed Church, Clear Spring and attended St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Hagerstown where she was a Sunday School teacher for many years.
She is survived by four children, Linda L. Currence and husband, Gregory of Hedgesville, W.Va., Harold V. Farrow, Jr. and significant other, Patty of Falling Waters, W.Va., Barbara J. Branchman and husband, Charles of Hagerstown and John Todd Farrow and wife Alissa of Hagerstown; twelve grandchildren, Blaine, Scott, Shannon, Lance, Kari Ann, Sierra, Renee, Chuck, Jason, Nicole, Jennifer and J.T.; nineteen great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown.
Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday, from 7-9 P.M.
