Ellia Caricato Blom

Ellia Caricato Blom, 84, of Hagerstown, passed away Sunday, February 25th, at Hagerstown Healthcare.

Ellia was born in Newark, New Jersey on November 23, 1939 and was the daughter of the late Vittorio and Anunziata (Stallone) Caricato.

She was of Roman Catholic faith. 

Ellia enjoyed reading, word find, crafts, shopping and eating out at restaurants.

She is survived by her loving family, a daughter Teresa Blom of Hagerstown, brothers Victor Caricato of Georgia, Edward Caricato and wife Kathy of Florida, sisters Nina Allison of Texas, Diane Shatzer and husband Lance of Collegeville, PA, grandchildren Crystal Warnock and husband Larrell, Doug Wulf and wife Brooke Whiteside, Anthony Dowdy and wife Shaundria Squires and Davonte Dowdy, great-grandchildren Justin DiSalvo, Ryan Disalvo, Collin Warnock, Jane Wulf, Elliot Squires and Theo Dowdy, Son-in-law David Wulf of Smithsburg, in addition Dawn Blom and Christian Blom-Tu of Germantown several nieces and nephews.

Ellia was preceded in death by a daughter Vicki Wulf and a sister-in-law Pat Caricato.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 5th with Pastor James Gross officiating at Rest Haven Funeral Home 1601 Pennsylvania Ave. Hagerstown, MD 21742. Burial will follow Rest Haven Cemetery.

Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
