Elsie J. (Knighten) Disert, 72, of Hagerstown, died peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, October 16, 2016.
Born August 13, 1944, in Martinsburg, WV, she was the daughter of the late John and Elsie Knighten.
She was a graduate of Martinsburg High School.
Elsie worked as a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband,William Roy Disert; two sisters, Betty Devore, Martha Hopkins; three brothers, John Knighten, Buck Knighten, Bill Knighten; and two grandsons.
Elsie is survived by her children, Ronda Fales, Rodney Butler, Roxanne Reed, Stephanie Bush, and Randy Disert; three sisters, Dott (Bruce) Dehaven of Inwood, Helen (Mac) Snyder of Shenandoah Junction, Pat Potter of Inwood; a brother, Bud Knighten of Martinsburg; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
