Elver V. McGargle

Elver Virginia (Ennis) McGargle, 90, of Hagerstown, passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Williamsport Nursing Home.
Born April 21, 1925, in Fredericksburg, VA., she was the daughter of the late Frank and Dorothy Mae (Wilkins) Ennis.
She worked as a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 75 years, Harry W. McGargle, who died on March 9, 2015; and her son, Donald L. McGargle.
Elver is survived by her daughter, Dorothy Weaver of Hagerstown; a son, William McGargle of Finksburg; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with Rev. Mark Mooney officiating.
Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
