Emma Jean (Adcock) Crabtree, 67, of Hagerstown, died Sunday, Oct. 23, 2011, at Meritus Medical Center.
Born July 17, 1944, in Chase City, Va., she was the daughter of the late Emmit Lee and June (Feathers) Adcock.
She is survived by her loving husband of 22 years, Edward E. Crabtree; five daughters, Vickie D. Bolf, Betty J. Nation, Carol A. Butts and husband, Paul, Geneva S. Demarco and her partner, Barbara Story, all of Hagerstown, and June M. Senaka and husband, Jeff, of Sandwich, Ill.; a son, Marvin Crabtree and wife, Jamie, of Hagerstown; a sister, Jenny Brown of Maugansville; a special friend, Linda D. Williams of Hagerstown; many nieces, nephews,; great-nieces and great-nephews; 17 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded by her first husband, Charles D. Coates; a sister, Joyce Commington; and two brothers, Ernest L. Adcock and Clifton Clay Adcock.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011, at Upton Full Gospel Church, 1435 Burkett Lane, Greencastle, Pa., with the Rev. Ruth Keefer officiating. Inurnment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
