Emmett Joseph Ellis

Emmett was born to Arthur and Annie Ellis on June 25, 1928 in Washington, D.C.
Emmett proudly served his country during the Korean War after which he attended and graduated from the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, D.C.
He became an accomplished artist, well known for his magnificent bird paintings. He chose however, a career in graphic art, working at a firm in D.C. until retiring in 1990.
Emmett was preceded in death by all his siblings.
He is survived by a niece, Candice Bishoff and husband Leslie of Hagerstown, MD, and a nephew, Arthur Chaney and his extended family of Silver Spring, Md.
Interment will be private in The Glenwood Cemetery, in Washington, D.C.
