Fannie E. Frazier

Fannie Elizabeth (Robinson) Frazier, 94, of Hagerstown, passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2016 at her home.

Born April 29, 1922 in Big Pool, she was the daughter of the late Gordon Dayton and Florence Virginia (Murray) Robinson.

Fannie was a member of Hagerstown Bible Church.

She retired from Washington County Board of Education as a cafeteria worker.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 72 years, Chester M. Frazier, Sr., who died Nov. 22, 2009; three sisters; and two brothers.

Fannie is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Wallech of Falling Waters, Jean Hamilton and husband Bill of South Melbourne, FL.; a son, Chester Frazier, Jr. and wife Yvonne; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; three brothers; three sisters; and a very special friend, Howard Boyer.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00pm on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 PA Ave., Hagerstown. Burial will follow in Welty Church Cemetery, in Smithsburg.

The family will receive friends two hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Fannie's name to Hospice of Washington County, 747 Northern Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21742.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to hospice nurse, Cindy.
