Fern Yvonne Weaver

Fern Yvonne Weaver, 96, of Hagerstown passed away Monday, February 3, 2020, at Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown.
Born October 11, 1923 in Clear Spring, Md., she was the daughter of the late Thomas Franklin and Fannie Esther (Mason) Harnish. In addition to her parents, she also was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Charles Edward Weaver; four siblings, Thomas F. Harnish, Jr., James M. Harnish, Loretta M. Klima and Gary Harnish.
Mrs. Weaver retired from the Maryland Ribbon Company where she had worked as an office clerk-typist and previously had worked for Fairchild Aircraft.
She is survived by her son, Robert L. Weaver, and wife, Susan, of Hagerstown and her granddaughter, Jennifer L. Weaver, of North Beach, Md.; one sister, Theabelle E. Eddy, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va. and one brother, Lawrence C. Harnish, of Clear Spring.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, February 7, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday, one hour prior to the service.
Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
