Florence D. Miles of Hagerstown, Maryland, passed away on January 19, 2019, at Doeys House, where a private service was held and attended by family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two sisters Blanche and Grace, and one brother Russell Daudlin, who was killed-in-action during WWII. She is survived by three daughters and their husbands: Terry Paylor (Dave), Wendy Teeter (Larry), Robin Martin (Charlie), five grandchildren: Kyle Kuhn, Kevin Martin, Shannon (Kuhn) Carbaugh, Cory Kuhn, Jodi Sinnott Aikes, and four great-grandchildren.

She moved to Hagerstown in 1984 and was a terrific Nana. She retired from her job at Commission on Aging at 90, where she walked to for 29 years.
Flo was an avid fan of Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Van Gogh. She loved sunflowers and anything blue denim. Her heroes were cowboys and WWII soldiers.
Her passion was remembering her soldier brother and informing everyone about the soldiers in WWII. She visited several memorial sites with the First Division Veterans group and enjoyed having dinners at the Morris Frock Amvets Post on Northern Avenue in Hagerstown.
Mom-Nana-Flo will be..always on our minds..
Thank you to the doctors, nurses and Hospice at Meritus ICU and everyone at Doeys House for their kind and gentle care for the whole family and everyone at Rest Haven Funeral Home for their kindess and help in all manners.
