Frank Marvin Hawks

Frank Marvin Hawks, 75, of Hagerstown, passed away, Thursday, July 6, 2017 at his home.
Born August 14, 1941 in Hagerstown he was the son of the late, Leslie Clements Hawks, Sr. and Ethel Irene (Hawbaker) Hawks. In addition to his parents he also was preceded in death by,five brothers, Paul Hawks, John Hawks, Albert "Bill" Hawks, Leslie C. Hawks, Jr. and Donald Hawks; five sisters, Betty Churchey, Hester Hawks, Jackie Hawks, Margaret Guessford and Joann Bryan and the mother of his children, Judith E. Hawks.
Mr. Hawks retired as a truck driver for Martin's Storage, Allied Van Lines and previously had worked for the Street Department for the City of Hagerstown.
He was a member of the Improved Order of Red Men, Conococheague Tribe #84, Williamsport; The Singles Club on Leitersburg Pike and a former member of the Hagerstown Moose Club.
He is survived by four daughters, Gina M. Smoot and husband, Richard, Theresa A. Smoot and husband, Jimmy, Tracey M. Moss and husband, Benny, all of Hagerstown and Vicki L. Bell and son in law, David of Vancover, Wa.; one sister, Carolina (Hawks) Poole of Hagerstown; ten grandchildren, Kristy Gray, Stacey Smoot, Danielle Smoot, Tracey Smoot, Jessica Long, Kayla Smoot, Richard Martz, Jr., Brandon Martz, Chayse Bell and Gavin Bell; five great grandchildren, Tyler Bowman, Chloe Whittington, Jaylee Keller, Alivia Durboraw and Conner Martz and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown with Pastor Robert V.Robinson officiating.
Interment will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 7-9 P.M.
