Gary Wayne Nalley

Gary Wayne Nalley, 58, of Hagerstown, passed away surrounded by his fiancee and children at Meritus Medical Center on Wednesday, January 6, 2021.

Born on August 27, 1962 in Hagerstown, Gary was the son of the late Harlen Lee and Helen Elizabeth (Loveless) Nalley. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Robin Ann (Smith) Nalley; as well as five brothers and five sisters.

Gary was a loving fiancee, father, and grandfather who loved family gatherings at Cowans Gap as well as celebrating Christmas get togethers. He enjoyed camping, spending time at R&K Pub and playing the slots at Charlestown Races.

Gary is survived by his fiancee and true love, Holly Susann Funk; as well as his daughters Stacy Marie Nalley of Hagerstown, and Tracy Lee (Nalley) Brown and her husband Brian of Hagerstown; and his sons, Gary Wayne Nalley, II and his wife Heather of Hagerstown, and Zachary Tyler Nalley and his wife Crystal of Waynesboro, PA. He is also survived by his sisters Betty Cole of Fairplay, MD; Bonnie Henson of Yarrowsburg, MD; and Brenda Muir of Clearspring, MD; his brother, Donald Nalley of Florida; his grandchildren who he loved with all of his heart, Devin M. Nalley, Caden J. Nalley, and Savannah A. Nalley; his grandpuppy, Roscoe; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at Rest Haven Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Jim Gross officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home starting at 12:00. Interment will be at Rest Haven Cemetery. Due to Covid-19 Restrictions, face masks and social distancing are required.
