George William Rowe

George William Rowe, 83, of Waynesboro, PA, passed away on March 29, 2025. Born on August 22, 1941, he was the son of the late Paul Ellis Rowe and Myrtle Elizabeth Rudisill.

He is preceded in death by two sisters, Pauline Elizabeth Moniger, and Betty Jane Moniger, as well as grandson, Bryan Michael Carr.

He was a carpenter by trade who was self-employed. He enjoyed watching westerns on television, listening to country music, and hunting. Above all he enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his children, Sherry Ann Carr (David), and son, Randy William Rowe; sisters, Linda Lou Blough, and Catherine Rose West.

A funeral service for George will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Avenue, Hagerstown, MD 21742. A viewing will be held two hours prior  from 10:am-12:00p.m.
