Grover W. Clever, 92, of Boonsboro, died on Thursday, March 17, 2011, at Fahrney-Keedy Memorial Home.
Born Nov. 14, 1918, in Mercersburg, Pa., he was the son of the late Harry O. and Dorothy (Lowan) Clever.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II.
Grover retired from Mack Trucks Inc. He had also worked at Interwoven Hosiery and Arnett Implement Co.
He was a member of Hagerstown Church of the Brethren.
He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Agnes G. Clever; two half sisters, Ruth Wallech and Betty Sustak; and three half brothers, Earl Clever, Nelson Clever and Billy Clever.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his first wife, Eula Mae (Crumbacker) Clever in 1979.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 19, 2011, in Rest Haven Cemetery, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, with the Rev. Louis L. Emerick officiating.
