Georgeann Maria Fiedler

Georgeann Maria Fiedler, 74, of Hagerstown, passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2021, at Doey's House.

Born July 18, 1947, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late George Heidecker and Mary Catherine (Hoban) Heidecker.

Georgeann was a graduate of Maryland General Hospital School of Nursing and earned a BS from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland, and an MBA from The University of Baltimore.

She worked as a nurse and in administration for the University of Maryland Medical System at Kernan and St. Joseph Hospitals. She was also a Team Nurse for the Baltimore Ravens for 10 years.

Georgeann was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church. She loved taking Body Pump and Zumba classes with her friends at Gold’s Gym and the YMCA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin sister, Mary Catherine Rader and her nephew, Drew Rader.

She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Alfred Fiedler, Jr. of Hagerstown, MD, nieces Kate Rader of Hagerstown, MD, Sarah Fiedler of Martinsburg, WV, and grandniece Carly.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, December 9, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21742, with Father Ernest Cibelli officiating. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
