Gladys Blondie Mills

Gladys Irene "Blondie" Mills, 89, of Hagerstown, passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at NMS Healthcare.
Born August 9, 1926, in Keedysville, she was the daughter of the late Ernest N. and Mary E. (Haupt) Smith.
She retired after an impressive 65 years of service at the Maryland Ribbon Factory.
Blondie had a passion for animals; especially cats.
She was Lutheran by faith.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald E. Mills, who died in 2006; and a brother, Harold Smith, Sr.
She is survived by two sons, Victor A. Mills of Milton, FL., Roger L. Mills of Hagerstown; three siblings, Mary E. Weagley of Santa Monica, CA, Ernest "Buzzy" Smith of Eureka, CA, Helen M. Ganoe of Boonsboro; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015 at 12:00 noon in Rest Haven Cemetery, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, same address.
