Harold Eugene Smith, III, 30, of Williamsport, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 2, 2016.
Born December 30, 1985, in Hagerstown, he was the son of Bonita (Walls) Bloom and her husband, Reese Bloom and Harold Smith, Jr. and his wife, Stacey Smith.
Harold was a 2004 graduate of Hedgesville High School where he also graduated from their Vo-Tech program.
Harold enjoyed working on cars; riding 4 wheelers; was an avid NASCAR fan; and he enjoyed spending time with his son.
In addition to his parents, he was loved by a son, Xavier Hutzler; a sister, Angel Smith; a brother, Austin Smith; an aunt, Wendy Mumma and husband Lee; maternal grandmother, Lois Walls; paternal grandmother, Bessie Niswander and her husband William; grandparents, George and Kathy Free; a cousin, Patrick Mumma; a niece, Kylie Hollingsworth; a nephew, Kyle Hollingsworth; his nanny, Mattie Starliper; and several cousins and extended family.
Harold was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, William Walls and his paternal grandfather, Harold Smith, Sr.
A graveside service will be held in Rest Haven Cemetery on Monday, July 11, 2016 at 1:00pm, with Rev. Robert Cook officiating.
Family and friends will be received at 12:00 noon at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown. At the family's request, please dress casual.
