Helen Bitner

Helen Louise (Huntzberry) Bitner, 79, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away September 24, 2023, at her home.

Born January 20, 1944, in Pondsville, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Verdean and Mildred (Fox) Huntzberry. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Eugene Lynn Bitner on March 13, 2012.

Helen was a graduate of Smithsburg High School class of 1962. She worked many years at Sears Catalog Department until its closure then at DMP until her retirement.

She is survived by daughter Lynnette (Suzy) Sease and husband Brian of Waynesboro, PA; her brothers, Kenneth Huntzberry and wife Sarah, Harold Huntzberry, Robert Huntzberry and wife Mary as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Richard Huntzberry and Thomas Huntzberry.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 29, 2023, at 10am at Rest Haven Cemetery, 1601 Pennsylvania Avenue, Hagerstown, MD 21742.
