Howard Reichard Taylor, 56, of Hagerstown, passed away, Sunday, May 29, 2016 at Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, Pa.
Born May 15, 1960 in Hagerstown he was the son of the late, Ned Taylor Sr. and Betty Jane (Palmer) Taylor. In addition to his parents he also was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry D. Taylor and Ned "Rick" Taylor and one sister, Pamela Lee Taylor. His brother, Brian Taylor passed away, Monday, May 30, 2016.
Howard was a 1978 graduate of South Hagerstown High School.
Howard worked for over 25 years for Garden State Auto Tanning, Williamsport.
His passion was baseball. in addition to being a big fan of the Baltimore Orioles he was a coach for The West End Colt League for 15 years. Howard and his brothers, Paul and Randy led the All Stars to the 1984 Colt League World Series.
He is survived by two children, Jason D. Taylor and wife, Tia and Monica L. Kunkle and husband, Troy, all of Hagerstown; five brothers, Mike, Paul, Robin, Randy and Jimmy Taylor, all of Hagerstown; one sister, Betty Ann Barnes of Williamsport; four grandchildren, Destiny Taylor, Kristen Pickett, Jordyn Kunkle and Kaelynn Kunkle.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, June 3, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown.
Family and friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 7-9 P.M.
